I took this deck to Top 8 in the Georgia Prime (20 contestants). Overall, I took it to a 3-2 to squeeze into top 8.
First matchup was Palp Watto (1st overall). I made a couple misplays here, but still think I would’ve lost it either way. Vader wasn’t rolling very hot, and when he did it was controlled.
Second round was eMaul/Phasma/Retribution. This game sucked. A Vader die would get removed, I’d PA it back in, then my opponent played The Best Defense.... This happened in Round 1 and Round 2, and with Maul’s PA, was over pretty quickly.
Third round was Snoke M&Ms. Vader dice finally came out hot, and was also able to Fear and Dead Men a couple times. Made for pretty quick work.
Fourth round was eBib/eThrawn. I’d seen some talk of this in various discords about this being a potentially strong deck, so was a little nervous there. Luckily, I was able to FADM the Darksaber for 5 to each character, which KOd Bib and left Thrawn at pretty low health. Still, my opponent dropped an Admiral to reset Thrawn and left Vader at 1 health left. Very close match against a very fun deck!
Fifth round was against Snoke M&Ms again. FADM combo’d with Act Of Cruelty made for some nasty combos this game, and was able to take it pretty quickly. Unfortunately, this was against one of the other Birmingham locals that came out, and resulted in a Top 8 spot.
Overall, a very fun deck to play when it hits its stride. Bib being able to potentially roll in another Vader die helped me push damage quickly.
I think the only thing I may change in the future is Doubt. I normally would have put one or two Conflicted and potentially a Mind Extraction in there. But with recent talk on Snoke M&Ms, I opted for Doubt to force people to remove or resolve the dice before Snoke’s PA could take affect. Honestly, I got pretty lucky as I faced 2 of the 3 Snoke M&Ms out of 30 decks. So somewhat a good call, but a lot of luck there.

In testing, I was able to get it out often enough to warrant keeping it in. It’s just such a powerful card that it hurts to take out completely. As for Bitter Rivalry, I think it is. Most other people obviously run eVader and Greedo - Unlucky Mercenary, but to me, the chance to get Vader’s die back in the pool is worth the two damage. And besides, Dangerous Maneuver helped push damage to Bib and off Vader |

Running Dangerous Maneuvers equals out the health lost from BR since Bib is 9 v Greedo at 7. The problem I see, and Kenny knows where I stand, is that Bib's die is so bad unless you hit the special, which then is a Forsaken target. Where as no one is bothering Greedo's die, it does damage and you don't have to take up two card slots for DM. All that being said, Kenny freaking killed it on Saturday and I'm super proud of how far he has come and his willingness to play HIS deck. Great job my friend. |

As for Greedo’s die, it’s definitely better unless I hit the special on Bib and am able to use it. Then Vader’s die is infinitely better than Greedo. I will agree it’s not a Tier 1 deck, but you know me, I like to make my own builds. I definitely appreciate the help in tweaking this to make it hit as hard as possible! |

Big question is how did Fist perform for you with the removal of Delve? Obviously, Vader's 2 money side can help get there, but that slow's your damage down too, potentially. Was Bitter Rivalry worth it for this line up?
