Remember, this deck is not a hard control deck. This deck has a simple plan: The hard to kill bait and the high damage attacker.

Characters:

General Grievous - Strong Meele;

Count Dooku - Strong Defense;

Battlefield: Echo Base seems to be an amazing match of sinergy with the cards of the deck. Helpping Count Dooku to be "immortal", while always been hit cause the Personal Escort. Also gives good sinergy when used by your opponents: Lightsaber and Power of the Dark Side ignoring it and also Kylo Ren's Lightsaber can destroy those and rerolling the dice for another hit!

The other two playable options would be:

-Imperial Armory: Against many decks it could help more your opponents than you.

-Emperor's Throne Room: Force Throw, Sith Holocron, Mind Probe, Lightsaber and Kylo Ren's Lightsaber. Many cards with dice sides waiting to be changed. But many times you just use another side, or just can't claim yet.

Upgrades:

This deck has a bunch of high cost upgrades. That are helpped by: Sith Holocron, Enrage and side dices.

Basically the dices are , and ( or ).

Supports:

Some people plays Local Garrison in this deck. I think it is a hard control card. It Binds All Things is also played. But I just prefer Power of the Dark Side 's damage action.

Events:

-Trick: Close Quarters Assault and Tactical Mastery;

-Damage: The Power of the Force, Force Strike and Deflect;

-Defense: Deflect and Dug in;

-Ramp: Tactical Mastery and Enrage.

I would play sometimes Intimidate in this deck. Against mirrors and good with the Battlefield.

What do you think about using Abandon All Hope?

I liked the idea of Imperial Armory, I will try it intead of my current Emperor's Throne Room. The effect is really more soft, but less dangerous also.

@R2D2, I think Abandon All Hope is really situational. Some moments it is great, but you still give your opponent a choice. Most cases is 2 to remove 2

Yep, that is the idea of playing Imperial Armory :)

Thx, man!

I will do some plays and talk here latter. I guess the idea your "simple plan" is kinda better than try to control the board to win.

@R2D2, nice nickname :D hahaha

@Martinello, nice deck, good explanations. One of the best Grievous + Dooku decklist I've seen! I like to use 2 Force Throw, not only 1

How does the deck's economy feel like without both It Binds All Things and Imperial Armory. The 2x Commanding Presence and the 3 light sabers must be annoying at times to get out there. Well Enrage can still help a good deal.

@MaxMcNugget, It Binds All Things is a really good ramp for the deck. Maybe I'll turn it back to the decklist sometime. I was just trying to work with dices, Sith Holocron and Enrage

Of course, maybe the decks is being too heavy and slow.

About the Imperial Armory. It is good in a deck more agressive and less defensive.

Do you find Commanding Presence either too slow or too ineffectual for this deck?
