Budget Starter's Deck - Villain 1.0

So! Since I started playing SWD too late and I couldn't get any Boosterpacks, I managed to get a 30-cards budget deck by combining Rey's and Kylo's starters packs into one basic casual deck (I usually get the second Stormtrooper from a friend, but it's rather cheap). The funny thing of the deck is that it kinda works, and can actually be able to defeat more complex setups.

It's also a good base deck to improve after getting better cards from Boosterpacks.

There's no real card choice here. F-11D Rifle and Infantry Grenades are the main Trooper weapons, while all the other stuff is basically for Kylo. Mind Probe & Force Throw are really strong cards, so use them wisely and try to equip them asap!

You probably want to use Power of the Dark Side mostly on the Trooper dice as they have more , but it's still a good re-roll tool.

I'd like to talk about the Dice-Control of the deck, as it's quite strong: Block, Dodge, Flank, The Best Defense..., Use The Force & Immobilize. You also have Disturbance in the Force as a desperate last try.

As the main threat of the deck is the eKylo, you want to Mulligan hard to get F-11D Rifle quick, at least one, so the Troopers become a bit more dangerous. Redeploying the Rifle into Kylo to get a cheaper Mind Probe is also a good idea, as Kylo is going to be either the first or second focus (probably the second, enemies usually want to get rid of one of the Troopers soon).

Try to profit having 3 characters to play defensively (Flank is AWESOME), and wait to spend the resources as much as you can! You may regret equipping a Lightsaber on your first action if then they roll lots of and/or .

I'll end with the Battlefield choice. I prefer Frozen Wastes over Starship Graveyard because it gives you more room to control the enemy. It can sometimes be bad for you, as you have 3 characters (4 ) and your enemy will probably end his actions faster.
