Shiny Metal is the result of one of our Dealer's Choice orders. Looking through my available characters, I realized that I had a good number of these shiny metal guys that I could group up. The 14-point Commander Pyre teams up well with a pair of 8-point Commando Droids.

This deck has two main themes, taking control of the battlefield for fun and profit and droids. It's a fairly straightforward build where you're trying to toss out cheap upgrades to make money, and use those to play some of your larger droids.

One interesting feature of this deck is the battlefield. One of the things I've always struggled with in a Pyre take-control deck is my opponent actually having the battlefield for me to take it. The Colossus doesn't guarantee they will have it, but the combination of them being able to take it and getting a reroll when you take it back made it seem like the correct choice here.
