It's challenging to find good 4 dice hero combinations in the game right now. This one has reasonable health.
Why not Han? Great question. Chewie has better health, higher damage consistency and special that can tear through the biggest damage dealers in the game. Shields end up being a bit null with Vibroknife in the format. If my shields are useless I have Riposte to get in unexpected damage.
Ideal opening hand is Jedi Robes into Hold Out on Rey and get to work. There's a sneaky amount of focus in this deck. With Maz's Goggles, Force Speed and Jedi Robes you can get your dice where you want them. One Force Throw if you can get to live the dream of tossing the die that Chewie turns to the damage side. It can hurt things like Vader really bad.
Unkar decks struggle due to the mitigation and the low cost cards. Upgrades don;t last in your hand very long because you are cycling them on Rey.
If you don't like the Riposte, Defensive Stance and Jedi Robes, I would switch those out and run Makashi x 2, Infamous x 2 and either Overconfidence or Force Misdirection. If you are seeing boat loads of Unkar then 2 Sabotage in place of Defensive stance or Overconfidence/Misdirection.
