Being a huge fan of midrange consistency, Captain Phasma - Elite Trooper has probably been my favorite character since the game was introduced. I've been playing decks with her as soon as I was able and here is my list with the updated cards from the 2p set and EaW

With the Imperial Inspection nerf, $2 and under weapons are not nearly as big of a liability as they have previously been, so I've leaned heavily on cheap upgrades with an emphasis on redeploy as I like to do with this build, allowing economy to pay for timely mitigation and damage pay-sides

The absolute STAR of this deck is Hunker Down. I've had a single Hunker Down mitigate 6+ points of damage through shields in a game before, it's a perfect pairing with Guardian and while the least sexy card in the deck, HANDS DOWN it's my favorite thing to see in my opening hand. Rend doesn't scare me. I have a lot of Rend targets in this deck, let them pick one, it won't hurt the consistency even a bit.

Perfect Opening Hand:

Aftermath, Salvage Stand, Hunker Down, Imperial Discipline or DH-17 Blaster Pistol, Flank

As far as supports, I am not sold on only having one Salvage Stand, as two is ideal for this deck but as of yet I'm not willing to lose anything else.. 1 Aftermath is perfect, providing just enough extra economy to come in clutch, and Backup Muscle is a shield-ignoring workhorse of epic proportions. Consistency is the theme here!

Posible changes I am considering

I want another DH-17 and another Salvage Stand back in. I'm just not sure what I'm willing to give up. The Z6 is a crazy-consistent workhorse with redeploy, Captain Phasma's Blaster has FOUR damage sides and potential redeploy (but Phasma should be the last one standing anyway)

There is some carryover between the LL-30 Blaster Pistol and Imperial Discipline which might make the case for not needing two of both.

Honestly, that could get into the "Splitting hairs" argument a bit, but that's where I'm at. Let me know what you think!

Playtesting made it REALLY easy to make this call:

No real need for ambush and no money side (for bait and switch, salvage stand, and...also for money) lead me to drop the LL-30 Blaster Pistol from this list. Killer card, just doesn't really have as good of a place here. Redeploy is great, but needs the money side and the F-11 has an additional source of damage.

Added back an F-11D Rifle and a Salvage Stand

I was thinking about wich character was taking most benefit of new rules, what upgrade and synergie . And it s probably Phasma for the character : p Then i made à research and found your list. For upgrades i would try personal shields with vibro nerf. Very strong deck, i love it : )

I have considered the Personal Shield, at the moment, Hunker Down fills that role for free, it’s not as powerful, but it does the work.

For economy’s sake I could take out that second F-11D and the Phasma Blaster.

Might be worth checking out! Will play test

Minor changes:

I swapped one Imperial Discipline for a second DH-17 Blaster Pistol and took out Captain Phasma's Blaster for a Personal Shield and honestly LOVE that card in here. It's amazing.

At the moment, I pulled the two Sound The Alarms for Friends in Low Places to get a little better control and I like that better.

So in regards to the POSTED list, the changes are as follows:

-2 LL-30 Blaster Pistol -1 Captain Phasma's Blaster -1 Imperial Discipline -2 Sound The Alarm

+1 F-11D Rifle +1 DH-17 Blaster Pistol +1 Personal Shield +1 Salvage Stand +2 Friends in Low Places

This list is so consistent, it's amazing.
