Basically the standard melee-oriented Kylo/Talzin.
Took this to the 28-man Bury Regional event and landed 2nd place.
Finished 4-1 in Swiss
Game 1: Sabine/Ezra > The dream! Opponent went for Talzin first... Be my guest!
Game 2: Thrawlzin - did ten damage to Thrawn turn 1 and activated Kylo guessing correct for the kill on him action 1 turn 2. All easy goin' from there!
Game 3: (L) Phondo. Force Illusion'd away all my good upgrades. Was one action away from winning (pitching my last hand while out of deck with a No Mercy for the kill) but got disrupted... and then Y-winged. :(
Game 4: Sabine Ezra > The dream! Self explanatory.
Game 5: Hera/Saw. This deck was nastier than I thought it would be. Took down Hera really easily only to have Launch Bay and Pirate Speeder Tankshoved in my face from Saw's special... Won the game with 1HP left on both characters. He was about to roll in a U-Wing so it was close as all hell.
Top Cut (BO1s) Top 8: Kylo/Talzin mirror. My opponent and I have played a few times before and he was running the Holocron variant. I pulled Enrage and Maul's Lightsaberturn 1. He managed to Cron into the Force Throw special to remove my +4... I power action'd it back in and hit the +4 again! Crazy rolling in this game meant I managed to kill his Kylo turn 1! Also felt good to Spell of Removal from his own deck to get rid of a 3 on an Heirloom.
Top 4: The Sabine/Ezra list I played in my first game! Clutch play of the week here was activating Kylo with a Crystal Ball, seeing his top card was a Second Chance. He plays one from his hand meaning that's his last one, so I Spell of Removal from his own deck to remove a DL-44 3 side. Feels. Good.
FINAL! Boba/Sister. (Blister). Played against my buddy (and fellow Three Man Meta co-host) Leighton in the final. I hadn't played this match up at all in testing and it really came back to bite me. Completely forgot Bait and Switch was a thing and he blew up my Kylo before I could throw down any redeploy. Poor dice rolling for the first time all day, I only managed 4 damage turn 1 (we want 6 as a minimum, 8 is good - 12 was the best I had in turn 1 all day).
Really fun, powerful, and easy to play deck.
