As a fellow vehicle player, I like the concept. However, I don't think fang fighter is as good as arc-170. Also, I think rookie pilot might be better than jar jar because of the damage. What do you think?

jgarza0072001 383

@RebelTraitor the arc is a great card but i like the ambush and roll in, especially with long term plan. I threaten lethal so many times thanks to it. Also I prefer the discard side as you can see I won my last match against Luke/Rey by mill.

Rookie pilot is great but i prefer a 3rd yellow for second chance and easy pickings, also people forget about Jar Jar's ability so it could be a great mitigation card or make them waste a turn to activate him in.

Hi, Congrat for win =) i like this descks but i have more questions for you ;) Can you explain how you use the deck? do you have problems with resources? Is it normal for a pilot to die in turn one? What is the hand that you are looking for against an agro deck?

jgarza0072001 383

@Kakarot Thank you. It was a smaller turnout then expected but lots of great players.

You are always looking for ramp cards: Rally Aids and Tech Team to help with your economy so usually resources are not an issue. Also my characters generate a lot of money.

Its rare when a charterer is killed turn 1 thanks to my mitigation and also from jar jar. If i go against agro I still look for ramp cards easy pickings/into the garbage chute.

I really like this deck plan, but I dont really understand the use of Gungan Warrior. Is he there just to allow you to play red cards, and if so, were there other red character cards for you may have considered?

CaptainMagma 2

@Nelp I was actually at the tournament, watching his last game against the Luke/Rey deck and asked him the same question. The reason he gave was so that he could have the red cards and play Long-Term Plan. He then went to explain that Long-Term Plan had helped him out in many situations either to increase the amount of damage he could do, or to mill the opponents entire hand. I was watching the game carefully and I don't know how well he would have done without it.

jgarza0072001 383

@Nelp as @CaptainMagma said. Long-term plan was my real reason of success. I knew I wanted 4 characters: 3 were going to be yellow for second chance and 1 was going to be red for the plot and vehicles. I wanted to use the plot so I just picked the 3 lowest cost yellow characters ezra 7, jar jar 7, Anakin 7, plot 3 = 24. So I had 6 points left and the only 6 point red is gungan warriors.

@CaptainMagma I think if there was no plot in the deck it could not of won. I played this deck because I wanted to have fun and show people how broken jar jar and long-term plan really are. I had a great time playing it against some amazing players.

The resourse you put in Long Therm Plan is from your resource pool? Or It comes from outside the gameplay area?

jgarza0072001 383

@01neo01 It comes from outside the gameplay area. Also when you use it to increase the dice value, you keep the recourse on the plot.
