This deck took 4th place out of 20 players in a 5-round, top cut store championship. I think it did fairly well the day of, and is a pretty nasty list in the right hands - some more experienced than myself.

Threw this together with what I had and what I could borrow half an hour before the tournament. The access to red made this deck sing, and Long-Term Plan was fire all day.

Game 1

eRex/Maz/Clone. Jeff is a great guy, and this was his first time playing Rex. Funnily enough his deck was very similar to the one I threw out not thirty minutes prior to the start of the round, so I was familiar with what it could do. He struggled with some of his plays, but as the game went on got more comfortable with Rex's play style. I closed the game out with an Infamous + Never Tell Me The Odds combo for nine damage on the trooper.

Game 2

Obi/Maz. He threw down a Maz's Vault in round one which opened my whole deck against him. I put one down myself, and with this and claiming the battlefield(mine) every round I wasn't short of cash. I don't remember how I closed out, but I do remember doing 11 damage with the same combo as round one.

Game 3

TaCos. The round can be watched here at the 2:12:00 mark. He mulliganed into a poor hand at the beginning of the game. A great and welcoming player!

Game 4

Honestly I don't remember the lineup here, this is when memory gets fuzzy. I know she had a Seventh Sister - Agile Inquisitor which I took down to one health by the end of round one, but I made a critical mistake in round two. I had mitigation and a Second Chance in hand that I was saving up for the next round, and I thought I was safe - for some reason I thought that the sister had already rolled in that round. I claimed the battlefield thinking nothing else could be done that round and she rolls in and kills my sabine. I knew I threw the game as soon I saw my mistake. If I played smart and read the field before I claimed I feel like I would have gotten this one, as I was in control until hat critical moment. Deanna is a great player who has won an SC herself, though, and her deck was unique and fun to play against.

Game 5

Millpocalypse. I wanted to bring Sabine to the tournament because I was worried that there would be nothing but mill, and I was happily mistaken. I know of only three mill decks that played this tournament, and this one was the absolute best. Lance, who ended up winning the tourney, piloted this well, but unfortunately even he admits that I should have won this game. I was down to one card in hand and deck, and Cassian had low health and a force illusion in play. He didn't have any cards left in his deck, but I misread Force Illusion. I thought it was discarded to mitigate damage and then mill. If I activated my Long-Term Plan with 3 on it I would have killed Cassian, but instead I was incorrectly trying to bait him to use his illusion that didn't even work by splitting up my damage and he got me to discard the last card in my hand before I could kill Cassian. A fun game that went down to the wire, but I will admit I was a little upset that my two losses were from my mistakes and not from good games.

Top 4

I was the highest ranked 3-2 and went against the Obi/Maz from game 2 in the top cut. Knowing that I had some higher-costed cards for mitigation, he played aggressively and was careful not to give me any s this time. Both game were pretty cut and dry, as he read my mail and played perfectly against me. Couldn't find my Second Chances for the life of me. Protip: eat something at some point in the day or you start losing your mental aptitude. It was probably after 5 p.m. and I hadn't eaten all day. He played very well and would have won the games nonetheless, but I feel like I was drained by the time I reached the cut.

A great day filled with great players. I definitely think there's something here in this list, so let me know what you think.
