The only heavy thinking this deck requires is how to use your Cunning special. You really want to mulligan for it in your first hand, then play it immediately. This deck has a lot of life insurance, you'll get an extra Poe Dameron - More Than A Pilot chain with Cunning.

Double-Dealing is another good early card to draw, however do not play it until your last action as you'll want to save your resources for any events/upgrades. Double dealing also pairs well with Grand Entrance.

Pull that Pirate Speeder Tank mid game (resources shouldn't be a problem in this deck) and just wreck with it and Cunning.

A180 Blaster is great card for this shield heavy meta and works well with the engine this deck runs on.

If the battlefield in play is Emperor's Throne Room - Death Star II, discard C-3PO.

When facing mill your prognosis is really all in the luck of the draw/roll, luckily Poe will give you a little insurance with his special and focus side. You absolutely need upgrades in your first hand. I got milled to death one LGS game against the dreaded Cassian Anakin Yoda where my characters were naked, but crushed the second game where I only had 1 Cunning, 1 A180, and 1 Poe Dameron's Blaster.

I think this deck is pretty consistent, but if I had to change one thing I may add either 2 First Aid's or 2 Mend's in place of Sound The Alarm. Let me know what you think.

This is a really interesting take. I love playing Poe/Hondo and was thinking of doing something different in a tournament tonight like Poe/Rey, but this has me reconsidering

Why Honor Guard over Suppression? Thanks!

Meant Suppressive Fire. Lol

@helikaon Good question. I misread that card at first and thought that the character die had to roll damage to remove it. Suppressive would probably be better to make the deck faster, you're right. Honor guards better for beefy upgrades though, so it could go either way. I'll try a few games with Suppressive Fire and see how better it is. Thanks for the input

How it fares vs those Snoke IMBAs like 6 resources turn 1?

Miket1100 430

@vitalis09 I've only went up against one Snoke deck with it so far. It was Snoke, Aphra, Battle Droid. My deck killed his economy and was never really on the ropes. I'm curious how this will fare against Snoke Thrawn

@helikaon I think the difference between the two is that while Suppressive Fire saves action sit is limited. It only removes Character dice. So I don't think it is an extreme improvement. Love this deck. I think there is a place in the Meta for this deck and I think it succeeds in ways Yoda Hondo could not.

@revroehrig Thank you! I'm currently playing this deck at my LGS for our weekly tournament. Won the first round against Gungans. I'll let you know how I end up
