Second Chance and Modified HWK-290. Here is my write up:

Thanks @sanhedrin. The write-up is fantastic. What would you cut for Modified HWK-290? I'll try and get a Second Chance or two, but the only singles stores that are even close to near by are out of stock.

I'd say -2 Vandalize and +2 Modified HWK-290

Cut the ARC-170 Starfighter. It’s a good card, but without it the only vehicle that costs 3 is Y-Wing, which is much better because of C-3PO guaranteeing the Special. With all those 2-cost vehicles Rally Aid really shines. I play Rally Aid AND Scrap Heap and wouldn’t lose either.

ARC-170 Starfighter is included for two major reasons:

No.1 - consistent damage. It has a 50% chance of hitting damage, and all the damage sides are really solid. damage sides with a value of 2 are powerful. People often don't mitigate them in favour of saving their cards for bigger damage...

No.2 - It's text is often forgotten, but is really powerful against mill. Being able to Vandalize your own ARC-170 Starfighter at the end of the round when you have no cards in deck or hand can be a life-saver. Recycle also works, but can't be used on your opponent's supports, to I left it out.

I'd prefer to use C-3PO to resolve a 2damage as a focus in order to do big damage after my opponent claims. If I were to cut something for the Modified HWK-290, it would probably be Y-Wing. I'm intentionally running just the best supports to make sure I can fit in plenty of mitigation. I'm trying to focus on mill and control a bit more than your deck seemed to. I usually have extra money at the end of a round, so Rally Aid isn't necessary.

@Cool Cat for President As I mentioned before, Vandalize is a pretty key card.

@Hessian Sack All that made sense, except. If you Vandalize your own ARC-170 Starfighter, you would still have a card in your hand even if you didn't. Cuz you have to have Vandalize in your hand to be able to play it.

I would suggest the combo you are considering, but with the N-1 instead. It's a little easier with Wedge since you can Power Action to the N-1 special, and the N-1 also destroys Anakin's Podracer too. I know a 3-cost is probably hard to drop, but with a deck that can probably go mill mode, the 2 shield side is also a little better too.

I have used the N-1 + Arc interaction to buy a round or two from the Gencon mill lineup, but it's unfortunately not a guaranteed safe play, unless you either run 1 N-1 and then are immune to Flames of the Past, the opponent is not running Vandalize themselves, etc.

Nice deck though! I always love the lineups you make and would maybe suggest a single HWK like people are saying. You have a decent amount of damage but I'm not sure it has enough to punch through big standard lineups. This squad is amazing in Trilogy too!
