Dice of Failure 822

This is an inspired idea from a guy named M. Taylor on the Destiny Facebook group. Use Leia Organa - Boushh to pair the Firespray-31 with the Rebel Engineer. Tutor for the mods you want and go to town.

Tweaking it a little, I went with the Jawa Scavenger. This is crucial as it gives you access to Theed Royal Palace - Naboo, which is either the best battlefield in the game or the best card in the game. Now, with only three character dice and an average roll of 3, you probably won't be winning the battlefield in Swiss and will only get it guaranteed 1 round if you make it to a tournament cut, so I've put in Across The Galaxy.

Now, the fat Firespray decks that currently exist have access to a lot, but they don't have the consistency of Rebel Engineer. I know these decks run a lot of mods, but you want the right mods, and one of those will be the Triple Laser Turret. With your starting hand, plus aggressive mulligans, PLUS Engineer tutoring, you have a very good chance to put out a Firespray with TLT round one. I'd put that at almost a certainty.

The thing that current fat Firespray decks can't offer is R2 Astromech. (I know, they have Ciena Ree - Adept Pilot, but she's a 9-health character that can be killed round 1. It takes special teching to get the R2 Astromech out. I actually think this deck is better than the current hotness of Cienna, and Tobias Beckett - Thief For Hire.

Villain re-ready is hard to come by, and Ciena won't be around for much longer. R2 Astromech is here to stay, and with Leia, you can now use it to re-ready your fat Firespray. Hot.

To that end, I've put in two copies of three different resource generation cards. Logistics, Resourceful and Well-Connected. These should make it so you have the money to play the Firespray, and re-ready it even without your battlefield.

Aside from that, this Firespray deck now has the whole host of hero mitigation at its fingertips. You can very easily run things like Into The Garbage Chute and Easy Pickings, but if those cards are too rich for your blood, things like Aerial Advantage and Blaze of Glory (overkill your Jawa!!!) are going to work just fine.

I've also added in two He Doesn't Like You's to make more use of Leia's ability. I think I will be putting in the Garbage Chutes in place of the Barrel Rolls, just to give myself 8 mitigation cards, which is a good ratio for a more defensive deck such as this (although 25 health is nothing to sneeze at, and is a heck of a lot more than most fat-Firespray Decks)

Finally, bringing the Firespray to the hero side of things gives us access to Shield Generator. With all the vehicle hate out there right now (Surgical Strike, Vandalize, "Mauler" Mithel - Vader's Wingman, etcetera), one can never be too careful. And I imagine (and can say from experience) that Fat Firespray villain decks have a lot harder time dealing with those.

Let me know what you all think, and make sure to check out Mr. Taylor's design!
