I'm not sold on Conscript Squad, but it's a way to get +2 for an initial 1 cost when resolving to fix dice. Fixing dice unfortunately allows for interaction, but often a 2 from Maz will be sitting around. Using an additional action to use to fix dice typically does not slow you down enough to lose the battlefield. Aerial Advantage feels like a better 1 cost removal that doesn't feel bad to just resolve as turn 1 and remove one , and it can be a blowout removal card with a Dorsal Turret in play.
