Finally, True Control has come to Destiny. Yes, we've been able to control people's dice, but now, we're finally able to truly control people's cards. No more random milling that we saw from hero mill decks. It's time to play Control Magi-er, I mean Destiny. The goal of this deck is to take away all your opponents options while you deal a lot of damage to them. In a way, it's a spiritual successor to Snoke - Supreme Leader / Tarkin - Grand Moff.
Thrawn - Grand Admiralis a must in this deck. His sides, health, and power action are amazing. I was bouncing between having Thrawn's partner be Snoke - Supreme Leader or Count Dooku - Corrupted Politician. Both characters bring a lot to the table. Snoke has more health, more focus, and a power action that would turn Thrawn's 3 in 5. However his damage side is only and Dooku brings a full package of control with him, so we settled on Dooku.
Dooku and Count Dooku's Lightsaber takes away two cards from your opponent. Dooku is consistent one card discard. With him being blue, you can also run a good lightsaber package in the deck. Use Darth Vader's Lightsaber to roll in a Thrawn die again. Treasured Lightsaber lets you draw giving you card advantage. For red , you have an Admiral to reset your loaded out Thrawn and Mastermind and Inferno Squad ID10 Seeker Droid for hand destruction.
For supports, definitely run Megablaster Troopers. Yeah, it's but you have two leaders and it's 3 dice per activation. New toys from the new set include Separatist Embargo to stop an opponent from playing a card that may ruin your day if you can't discard or exile it. And Cultural Records are a fun new toy I'm trying out in this deck. I'm not sure how it's going to work, but it seems pretty good.
The event package is fairly self explanatory. Use Counterintelligence to put an event on the top of your opponents deck right before you activate Thrawn to then use that event against them for maximum tilting.
And there you have it folks: Blue-Red Control.
Well I was interested until you referenced snokes un-errata'd power action and you dont have execute order 66 either....next
