Came up with this while trying to make a blue hero deck that would at least put up a fight in the current meta. The strategy here is to mulligan for at least one Niman Mastery and either Exchange Of Information or Luke's Training to be able to get the Niman Mastery and another blue upgrade out in round one.
Between the Niman Mastery and Yoday and Rey's specials, there's a good chance you can pull off some decent special chains and stock up on shields.
Fatal Blow was originally one of my move events, but I've since swapped it out with Pushing Slash.
The most likely change I'll make is to add Ezra Bridger's Lightsaber for the special. Another Defensive Teaching could be useful but I worry about it being a waste of an action - one of my concerns is that this deck is too slow and the shields won't do much good. I'd considered using Destiny Fulfilled and Heroic Stand, but I'd hate to draw those cards early and have them take the place of something that would be more useful.
If anyone has suggestions, I welcome the feedback!
EDIT I've since switched out the 2 Yoda's Protection with 2 Loth-Wolf Bond. It makes more sense in a 2-wide deck.

Gah, I need to get some Niman Mastery cards! |
Loth-Wolf Bond is objectively better than Yoda's Protection when you only have two characters, so I would just swap it in for that. I love the idea of using Luke's Training to get Niman Mastery out. And I think the move you want is Pushing Slash (maybe Draw Closer?) instead of Fatal Blow because, as you note, Fatal Blow is really awkward in this deck. Great work on this! |

Swap Channel The Force for Beguile as you can´t spot a leader. I like the deck and I´m curious to see if Caretaker Village would be viable in i a deck like this? |
Feel like Loth-Wolf Bond should have a spot in here. Shield and activation is pretty good. Perhaps cut the Luke's Training and Adapt? Love the idea though!
