Latest iteration:

Removed 1x Datapad. Added 1x Logistics. Removed 1x Hidden In Shadow. Added 1x Power of the Dark Side. Removed 1x Unpredictable. Added 1x Feel Your Anger.

Strengths:

Weaknesses:

  • Resource generation.
  • A few "spot a character cards" that could become discards.
  • Will almost never claim the battlefield.

Opportunities:

  • As per the version number, I'm constantly updating this and trying new card sets.

Threats:

  • Disruption. Although, contains many free to play cards.
  • Discard. Absolutely punishes this deck.
  • Hyperloop.

Not sure how this would affect your playstyle, but maybe try to fit drudge work in to help with resource generation.

@Mycatdied I've considered drudge work but the damage face on the First Order Stormtrooper is more effective for me. The deck is built to play cheap with extra money coming from Datapad, Logistics, faces, Bala-Tik's reactivation, etc.

The upgrades are chosen to facilitate stepping but I find that I don't usually struggle that much with resources. I prefer to get the First Order TIE Fighter out over a 2 cost upgrade because the TIE can roll in against Jango. Its pay side is a bit annoying and has led to me beating up Nightsister to roll a face to pay for it (and usually a bunch of other modifiers).

I wanna play this deck in future and i need some tips :)

If u win for the BF at the beginning, do u pick yours or take shields against aggro?

How often do u keep Logistic in ur starting hand?

How hard is the match-up against J/V? And against eBala/Jango/Trooper?

In the first turn, are you happy to take resources to set up future turns or you always look for dmg from your dice?

Thanks for any tips and for your time! :)

@Netta18

I get to choose the battlefield about 50% of the time given the maximum roll out is 8 with an expected value of 4. If the opponent is playing a relatively weak battlefield and one that isn't part of their mechanic (triggers specials, etc.), I'll generally choose theirs and take the shields on NS.

Logistics gets used right awayif I role a on any of my character die. Unless they have die active.

JV + EBJT + JTT are all hard fights. Depending on the EBJT build, I'll sometimes try and kill the First Order Stormtrooper first turn to remove red control cards (Cannon Fodder, The Best Defense..., etc.). It's pointless to kill a First Order Stormtrooper in JTT, this deck is probably the hardest to beat.

The hardest calls in this deck are when to spend resources. My first hand usually has: 2x1 control cards, 1x2 upgrade, and 1x0 control card. Determining whether to play the upgrade or save for control or pay for damage is the consideration that will decide the game. Often, I'll roll in a Trooper and wait to see if I roll a and how their first character activation goes. If I can get the two Trooper's rolled in with a 1 showing, I'll generally cash the resource, play the upgrade and keep a resource for control (unless I've already spent it).

Another interesting note is that I keep at least almost every hand I pull.

Thank you so much!

I'll try to learn more playing (especially resource management) and then I'll let you know my thought or ask more question :)
