This is a great aggro deck and I have managed to win several games against different decks.
The ideal starting hand for me is to get at least Awakening and Overkill / Vibroknife as they are great help in resolving unusable +dice and ramping up the damage respectively (although I have won a game without ever getting either of these cards and just using the blasters and knives). Hit and Run also helps once Baze is powered up and can activate and deal damage in one blow.
Other cards which I've found help support include BB-8 and Supply Line which have helped me with extra re-rolls, focus and resources (and BB-8 is the coolest!).
Mitigation wise Force Misdirection is good as you have both and covered with Chirrut Îmwe - Blind Warrior's dice.
Close Quarters Assault is in there to help out against Poe/Maz decks.
The problem is sometimes resources (especially against a disrupt deck but I won 2/3 games against a Vader/Jabba deck) which is why I run Moisture Farm - Tatooine.
